Getting excited? I am! Looks like it’s going to be a fabulous weekend for some racing in Devon. Things are coming together wonderfully with the race, BBQ, prizing, beer, etc.

Final Tuesday Race

Woohoo! Thanks to everyone for coming out and having some fun this Tuesday Race season. It was a blast putting on the races, and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

Moving on to the next thing, United Cycle Grassroots and Devon Bike Association have combined efforts and are bringing a double header race to the Devon Lion’s Campground the weekend of Octobe 18/19 2014.

This is a night race on Saturday night and a regular ABA Cup event on Sunday. There will be a kids race before the adult races on Saturday. There will be a BBQ, beer gardens, and many different prizes. There will be camping available and a pancake breakfast. It will be a great time!

Upcoming Cross Tuesday

Hey Everyone!

Been a while, Las Vegas sure makes you forget what day of the week(or the month) it is! I heard the last Tuesday was a great race, thanks to everyone for coming out with some fantastic September weather. I’ll see about getting some results from last week posted here as soon as I get my hands on them.

This week continues the racing in Capilano Park at 7pm.

Some great things are coming together for the Devon Cyclocross Weekend in October. Stay tuned for more information soon!

Sept 2 Cross

Hey Everyone!

Glad to see the threat of rain did not keep anyone from coming out, we got wet during set up but the race was dry! Hopefully the corners weren’t too slippy, but hey, that’s cross!

Aug 26 Cross

Thanks to everyone that came out early to cheer the Traiblazers on for their race! Feedback was positive, so I hope their next race in two weeks goes just as well.

Ladies night turned out a success, as the winners in both B and C group were women.

Next week goes back to Goldbar Park, and if you want some extra speed take a look at the Cycle-Smart Cyclocross camp that Shaun Adamson is hosting this weekend.

Trailblazers and Ladies Night

Howdy everyone!

Looks like we have a couple events this coming week in Tuesday Cross. First off, Trailblazers Youth Racing will be breaking in the course at 6pm, registration at 5:15. See the link here for full detail on an intro to Cyclocross clinic for the kids and the race.

After the kids are done ripping it up, Tuesday Cross turns into Ladies Night! All lady racers get free entry (normal club membership rules still apply).

So bring the whole famliy, come early, and let’s have a great night in Capilano Park!

Back after a long break

Hey Guys and Gals!

Looks like we’re gearing up for another great season of Cyclocross here in Alberta.

We will be starting the Tuesday Cross Series this year earlier to get a bit more practice in before the real racing starts. Click the tab above for Tuesday Cross to see the full schedule. Same format as last year, three groups, and alternating between Goldbar and Capilano Parks in Edmonton.
